Design History

eye·D set up business in 1976 as a design company.

In 1976, Designer Claude Teisen-Simony won his first design competition, which was the start of a professional design career.

In 1981, Claude completed his design education at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and set up the design office ABCDESIGN, which remains the subsidiary name of the company.

By 2006 the company had become an ideas and innovation enterprise – employing engineers, designers and other specialists. eye·D was therefore chosen as a better name for the company's activities.
