Time Manager - Branding Strategy
Time Manager doubled their turnover and saved millions
Time Manager wanted their products to be a symbol of the
successful businessman and developed a successful design strategy.
Eye-D outlined the branding strategy in a design manual with two
main themes: pinstripes from businessmens' suits in
the design and the use of pictograms. The pinstripes created the
exclusivity and sense of status symbol. Time Manager doubled its
turnover year by year after the introduction of the new design. The
pictograms made it possible to cut costs substantially, saving
millions of dollars for Time Manager, as 50 forms in more than 20
different languages were reduced to only 50 forms with pictograms
marketable internationally without any language barriers.
